My name is Nacole and I live in Georgia. I am a 34 yo housewife who loves to craft and is addicted to Netflix. I run a shop on Etsy where I sell my goods. I have decided to start a Blog where my customers can keep an eye on any promotions that might happen and to see what I'm up to.
What do I sell? Well in the past I sold items I knitted and items geared towards knitters. (Some of these items are still listed in my shop.) But in the last few months I have changed gears. I do more Cross Stitching these days. So I now make Grime Guards for Cross Stitchers.
What are Grime Guards? They are fabric and elastic covers that go around the Qsnap frame or an Embroidery Hoop.
Why do you need one? Our hands produce oils and these oils could damage the fabric that your using to cross Stitch with. Also the more fabric you have covered the less chance of getting a stain on your work. You have put many many hours into your beautiful project. You should protect it the best you can!
Also who wants to look at a white piece of pvc when your making a lovely piece of art? You change your shoes to match your clothing right? Why not dress up your plain frame while your stitching?!
I offer 3 sizes in my shop. 8x8,11x11 and 11x17. All other sizes are available by custom order. If you use an Embroider Hoop an 8x8 will fit up to a 9" hoop and an 11x11 will fit up to a 14" hoop.
I have been quite busy this week with not leaving the house due to the snow. 14 new Grime Guards will go in the shop tonight and tomorrow.
